Ages 11-12 · Free previews · Print-ready PDFs

Written by Adi Ackerman, Head Teacher

The water cycle is the movement of water between the oceans, the air and the land, and ocean currents are huge rivers of water that carry heat around the planet. These water cycle and oceans pages hold 2 6th grade worksheets, each with an answer key. The Water Cycle has students write seven processes on a diagram and explain the roles of the Sun and gravity. Ocean Currents has students read a map and explain how the Gulf Stream and the California Current affect nearby coasts. The sheets carry MS-ESS2-4 and MS-ESS2-6.
