6th Grade Photosynthesis and Respiration Worksheets

Ages 11-12 · Free previews · Print-ready PDFs

Written by Adi Ackerman, Head Teacher

Photosynthesis is the process plants use to make food from carbon dioxide, water and light energy, and cellular respiration releases the energy stored in that food. These two 6th grade worksheets, each with an answer key, teach both. Photosynthesis has students label a plant diagram and complete the word equation, and Photosynthesis and Cellular Respiration shows how the two processes form a cycle linking plants and animals. The sheets practice MS-LS1-6 and MS-LS1-7.
