Human body systems are groups of organs that work together to keep the body alive. These four 6th grade worksheets, each with an answer key, label diagrams and show systems working together. Body Systems Working Together on a Run follows Maya through six situations, The Digestive System traces a sandwich from mouth to waste, and The Circulatory and Respiratory Systems follows oxygen from the air to the cells. Heart Rate and Exercise has students graph sample data for a jog and a rest. The sheets on interacting systems practice MS-LS1-3.

Frequently Asked Questions

The respiratory system brings oxygen into the lungs, where it passes through tiny air sacs into the blood. The heart then pumps the oxygen-rich blood through arteries to every part of the body. Carbon dioxide travels back to the lungs to be breathed out.
