6th Grade Punnett Squares Worksheets

Ages 11-12 · Free previews · Print-ready PDFs

Written by Adi Ackerman, Head Teacher

A Punnett square shows every way the alleles from two parents can combine, so it predicts the chance of each trait in their offspring. These two 6th grade worksheets, each with an answer key, move from filling in squares to probability. Punnett Squares works four crosses for purple and white after a tall and short example, and Punnett Square Probability uses guinea pigs, rabbits, freckles and pea plants. The sheets practice MS-LS3-2.
